Greetings! I am reluctantly choosing to part with a treasured item in my prop replica collection in order to acquire a more sought-after piece. I was fortunate to get in on a limited run of MK's amazing Maltese Falcon replicas in April 2008, information and photos in the thread linked...

Is it appropriate to wear a DB jacket with non-matching pants? I'd assumed that DB jackets were only utilized as part of a complete suit, and that only single-breasted jackets were used at times with different-colored pants, as more of a sport coat... I'm not criticizing the original...

I'm not sure of the timeline of the styles, but I prefer the 6x1 style because it shows more tie, and the angles of the cut of the jacket look less blocky on me.

Yes, the J-9 is exactly what I'm looking for, but it's not apparent how to order a jacket... they seem to list everything else for ordering. Are you experienced with the site? Am I missing something you might be familiar with to order a jacket/pants combo?
