Interesting this, I have a pair that I wear as regular shoes all the time, usually with coloured socks. I see it as sort of a Vivienne Westwood sort of thing (she showed them with all of her menswear a few years ago). No metal taps though, don't want to walk around making that sort of racket!

Wow those are gorgeous!!! Gotta admit, I've worn western boots most of my life and I like the points, they've got to have heels as well. I am partial to the look of the short vintage boots with squared toes (like old Acme's) but since no-one really makes those any more (they should) the point is...
