Has anyone worn their 5 Star jackets in the rain? I'm wondering because Shawn told me that their jackets are not recommended for use in the rain due to the tanning procedure, even though the color wouldn't bleed. He did say that many customers have used them in the rain without issue but still...

All in the line of duty! I do think that it would be a useful feature to have, particularly on cold, wet, and windy days. I was impressed with how well it protected my neck. Once the leather has been worked a bit, should prove to be a handy option.

Dear future buyer. Do yourself a favor and work the leather throat latch a bit before putting it on. I never wore it fastened so the thick HH is still very stiff. Thought I was gonna have to call the fire department to cut me out of it haha!
