Right now I would be happy to find ANY jacket that would fit me properly. They just don't make stock jackets for short stocky people like me and I can't decide on a custom jacket.
I've owned both Vanson and a Schott 141 and while the Vanson's have a snug fit the 42 Schott I had fit fairly loose on me. Definitely over sized, especially thru the waist. Just my 2 cents.
I didn't mean anything necessarily insulting by saying "Pakistan" as the quality of their made jackets have improved tremendously.
Usually when I see a jacket brand that advertises relating to American icons like Milwaukee/Crazy Horse, it sends up red flags to me of what are they trying to...
I received my Model D after probably 2 months but I should have ordered a custom size and waited longer. I should have known better, but stock sizes just don't fit me anymore. Sleeves too long, a little to long in the body, and too tight in the back.

I probably need to go that route myself. I bought a stock Vanson and it doesn't come close to fitting my dimensions.
BTW, how long did you have to wait?
AMF owned HD back in the late 60's thru the 70's and even tho I have never actually saw an AMF version, HD jackets were American made and of pretty good quality.
Not now.....made in China and they really show it.
Plus you can't buy a plain jacket anymore, has to have some kind of huge...
