Rather than call Liddy an "actor," I'd refer to him as a "character." I had a personal encounter with him many years ago. I was working for Brooks Brothers when Liddy walked into the store wearing an A2 leather bomber jacket with a "downed American flyer" patch sown on the back. He was not a...

Ask a question, get an answer

In a recent post on another thread, I mentioned wearing a hat in inclement weather. I must say, whenever it's raining or blowing, I am always in a quandry trying to decide what hat to wear. Ironically, those are two of the major conditions best suited to hat wearing! So, what do you folks do...

Rush Limbaugh had his adherents and his detractors. Death has not silenced that din. I give the man credit for spending his life doing what he loved, and building a brand when others would not have him. There are many who cannot make that claim.

What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Yes, it's paracord. I got into making paracord "things" a year or so ago; I made a zipper pull for a leather jacket of mine that had lost its metal one. I haven't done much since, but I have a couple of other paracord hatbands I wear on some of my straws.

What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

I am always hesitant to wear a quality hat out when the weather is inclement. Today, the temperature is below freezing and we're getting the infamous "wintery mix." I have a goal to get out every day and get in at least 30 minutes of exercise (walking, biking, hiking, running) so I finally was...

    Post New Hats Here!

It's been a while since I got a new hat, but I came to the realization that in my quest to keep my daily activity streak alive, I needed a hat to go along with two of my climate-specific jackets. I hesitated for a while, since it seemed a bit garish at first, but then I said, "What the heck...
