Thanks- the toe/vamp/counters are burgundy zug while the rest of the upper and tongue are waxed berry suede(although cleaning with a suede brush has removed the waxed effect so they now just look like suede). Triple leather sole and heel with vibram half sole and heel cap. I also like the rivets...
Actually, the black chromexcel boots get the most wear- they are aging really well and are developing a lovely patina, with a deep brown starting to show through in places as they age(two and half years old).
Just cleaned a few pairs of my William Lennon boots, so thought i'd put up a couple of pics. One pair missing- apair of black chromexcel PTC 78 derby boots currently away at the cobblers being reheeled.

Nice combination you have chosen- I have a pair of 178s in a mix of black chrome excel/burgundy zug and I love the contrast of colour and grain. Have you seen a sample of the black Scotch grain- I have quite a few swatches from WL but not seen this particular leather- is it similar to the zug?
