Cooper G-1 Jackets
Hello Edward,
I bought one of the Cooper G-1 issue jackets about 8 years ago from a shop in Kettering called Mishmash, which I believe is now closed. I am about 5' 8" and 70kg and 40" chest and the 40" jacket fits me perfectely. In comparrison, I have an original 55-J-14...
Thanks Edward,
I have had it for a year or so and it's breaking in nicely. I wore it as a Motorbike jacket during the Summer and hard use and the regular soakings it got have done it the world of good.
best regards.
Pat

Cirrus Adam jacket
Here is a picture of my adam jacket to give you an idea what they look like. The website seems to still be using images that they had over 12 years ago when I bought the first jacket from them.

Cirrus Jackets
Hello Vornholt,
With regard to the Cirrus jackets, I have had both an A-2 and currently one of their Adam jackets and have found them to be well made and the leather to be excellent. The authenticity may not be on a par with Eastman or Aero but I have found the materials and...
Noble house jackets
Hello all,
Just in response to your questions about the Noble House jackets. I bought two of them together on ebay about a year ago. One was what is called the museum quality B-3 and the second was the black Luftwaffe jacket.
The B-3 jacket looked okay, but not...
Battlebus tours
I went on a tour with Battlebus during my last visit to Normandy and would recommend them most highly. They operate from Bayeaux and it is from there that the tours started and finished each day. The prices for the tours included entry into all the museums and various sites...
Cirrus jackets
I have had two jackets made by Cirrus, an A-2 about 10 years ago and an "Adam" jacket last year. Their heavyweight leather is really beautiful , having a wonderful vintage colour and feel to it and both jackets fitted perfectly from the start. It is true that in terms of...

Thanks for the welcome Paddy !
"Flip" may have a chain of shops as Kt Templar suggested, as I do recall seeing several modern jackets there with their own label and logo on them.
Thats a fine coat you have Indy Magnoli, very "Minister for Propaganda" like.
All the best,

Hello All,
Thanks for your comments. I actually bought the coat in "Flip" I think it's called , which is at the side of the central bank building. They also had a good range to choose from in "The Eager Beaver", many also of German vintage leather, it is just around the...
Hello All
I bought a brown coat very like the one Bellytank posted pictures of, from a retro shop in Dublin here in Ireland last year where they had a range of about a dozen of the same sort though mostly black. The one I bought still has it's German label and I think many of the others there...
