Picked up this 70s era Bates on eBay. It’s my first Bates and am very impressed! Hard to imagine a better fit!

I picked this one up--it is 100% an original Bates. To paraphrase Seinfeld--it's real and it's spectacular. Fit is perfect for me also, will post pics in the What Jacket... thread when I get a chance.

Not to derail, but Lee Miller of Texas Traditions has some of the original Russian reindeer hides. Was in the shop a couple years ago And got a tour. Really interesting leather. (And Lee is seriously one of the nicest dudes you’ll ever meet) I think I have another year plus on his waiting list...

I picked up a Brave Star Sherpa last year and love it. I found it TTS at XL with some room for layering. Edited to add: I can also highly recommend the Glory Days hoodie!

The fit on this one is insanely good, doubt it could be better if tailored in person! great design too; if this one shows up in the classifieds you need serious counseling with a bag of doorknobs.
