setting a hat down: brim up or brim down?

Here is an option that will cost only a coupla bucks and some of your time. You'll need oak tag, a pencil, a ruler, a scissors, a straight edge, a stapler, and some of your time. Make it tall enough so the top of the hat doesn't touch the surface the holder is resting on, and just wide enough...

Your creases are very organic-looking; one of my favorite features of your hats.

I think it's a two-pronged sword (excuse the mixed metaphor). In addition to the additional cost, most (not all) men these who wear hats wear them with more casual attire. No brim trim is more casual, not to mention 'rugged' (grrr) than brim trim.

    leather jacket treatment question

The Kiwi Mink Oil (lower left) says silicone. Is this okay? Which is better, shoe polish or mink oil, are they both okay?

    leather jacket treatment question

It's not a real high quality leather. I would never post it here. Not brand new but certainly not old, but a little stiff. I just want to soften it up a bit.

What about some clear shoe polish (which I also already have)? It's made for leather shoes.

    leather jacket treatment question

I'm almost afraid to ask this, but here goes. I've read about a bunch of things that can be applied to leather jackets to treat and condition them. But recently I came across an article (online) that said that WD-40, among its tons of other uses, is good for this purpose. Many of you...
