Well, I was using the term "jacket" loosely but, a long great coat...a quick google image search tells me that that's probably most what it is. Thanks, much appreciated.
Can anyone help me identify what kind of jacket this is?
The man pictured, was an officer in the Polish Cavalry that was part of the Prussian Army. Picture probably taken in the 1880's or 1890's (if that helps at all).
