Selling my black Riverina. Its 7 1/8 crown (57mm) with a 4" brim. Hat is less then a year old. It's a great hat with no defects. I'm selling cause the wife got me a custom hat from Buckarooh hatters & I just don't need the hat any longer. I put a paracord band on it. I can't upload photos...

Thanks for the responses! I kinda figured it would be a big job. I like the hat, as is, too much to go through all that. I'll probably have another made, in a darker color, down the road. I commend your attempt to dye your hat yourself belfastboy. Sounds like a fun project! I've got too much...

I hate to change the subject, but I have a question regarding hat coloring. I have a nice 50/50 beaver/hare western in Silverbelly. I love the hat and sometimes think of getting a duplicate made in either pecan or whiskey. I also have wondered if it's possible to dye a felt hat? If it is...

Though I did pull the front and back down a bit more then original, the curl I was referring to was the sides. They originally were flat w almost a downward angle. I just gave them a slight upward tick.

The green does look very good on that hat. I very much like the finished product, band & hat together. Not to take attention from your post, but I figured I'd post a few pics of my newest addition. It's a black Akubra Riverina with 4" brim. Supposedly it was a limited run for the Riverina 4"...

Thanks for the compliments. I forgot to add the "specs". 7 1/8" hat size, 4 1/4" crown, 3 3/4" brim. It's either silverbelly or darkbelly. Though the pics don't show it, it's actually a darker version of silverbelly then I'm use to seeing so probably darkbelly. I forgot to ask Mike. I'm happy...

Thanks for the info. I went ahead and created a Photobucket account. The hat was made by Buckaroo Hatters. 50% Beaver / 50% Hare. I wear it almost everyday for work and going out. Fits perfect. He's local so he made sure it was perfect before I walked out the door. I'll definitely be doing...
