That particular seller has quite the collection of peacoats for sale. All very steeply priced. I'm guessing if at least one bites it pays for the lot. I noticed she has many WW2 coats in quite poor shape listed for 500 or more.

This is a bit sketchy. Someone just won this coat in bid for $26, maybe even from here and the same seller listed it again for $400 lol. Didn't someone here but this?

This appears to be the same coat @spotmark bought last week? I'm confused. I looked at recently sold and looks like it sold for 17 the previous week. It was relisted with same pics.

It looks to be decent. Liner is messed up and pictures aren't all that detailed. Asking 60.

Is a size 44 WW2 coat a rare find? Feel it's the first I've seen.

Anyone know if there was a difference in the WW2 officers peacoat vs a regular one besides the buttons? I've also noted loops on the shoulders. Any structural differences?

I think at this point I'm tired of seeing fuzzy pics of a coat taken on a 1966 Polaroid and description that's says it's all golden. It's very easy to take pics clear as day and remark on any flaws.

Idk how to address the ebay stuff. What I paid for the coat is not of concern whether it's 40 or 140. It's about what was represented vs what I received. I do feel more inclined to contest higher dollar amounts though. I feel bad and at the same time, take damn good pics of the coat.

That's great to hear. I was expecting this one to be in tip top considering they stated no issues with the wool. I counted at least 15 moth tracks.

Received that 1949 coat today. It's nowhere close to as described unfortunately. Moth tracks all over it. If your still interested it's yours, otherwise looking to get the seller to refund me.

Interesting find, I found a jacket that has matching trousers. No idea these jackets had matching wool pants.

Picked this up this morning for like $30. May swap gold buttons out depending on how it looks.

Maybe they had the pockets replaced. Something about this coat looks off. Look at the pic of the pocket and how thin the material looks.

Nice, that's a sick coat. Great condition. I picked up a WW2 coat in mint shape for 15 bucks the other day. It was mislabeled a women's coat. I shot my shot and made an offer of 15 bucks and he took it.

Thanks man. I hope that it's in as good of condition as the seller says. It looks decent but the picture were kind of terrible. Somebody messed those buttons up too so I'll need to fix that. Clearly won't button from the right with how uneven it is.
