Bottom hem is about 18.5-19”. This jacket drapes so well for something this stiff. Very flattering silhouette.
I think most would agree that comp weight is pretty awesome. Not as great as old comp weight, but still great. Thick and stiff.

Zipped up, I think the fit looks great! If you're a 41 but wear a Vanson 42, it seems like you like a little more room with your jackets, which is totally fine. How does it look unzipped?
Have you considered just making your own belt? It's not that hard, especially if you use snaps instead of stitching for the buckle end. And there are all kinds of buckles, to match your jacket.
