I think both look great as well! At a glance, I wouldn't be able to tell which one is the mall brand and which isn't. Actually what surprises me is that the Jack N Jones is actually wool, even if not 100%.
I might look into Pike Brothers for a peacoat myself, as the one I got I've outgrown in...
Brannock isn't a thing here in EU, but I wear 10G in my RM Williams Craftsman, 10.5D in Red Wing and Grant Stone, 10.5 UK (Which varies by brand but it's usually 11.5 US and 45.5 EU) in most sneakers.
I got a pair of RM Williams and really like them. Fit good and good quality, I particularly like that they are made in a single piece of leather, as I quite loathe seeing the stitch on each side under the elastic band on Chelsea boots. I've both dressed them up and down. Of all you've said, I...
Certainly one of my gripes. I don't have IG, it's not a store and then what's the point in hosting a website? Not uncommon with other makers but still.
Countless Skies takes the name from Belakor's song, so kinda similar sound, listen to their Glow album :D Wilderun go for any of the latest two, VOLA for Applause From A Distant Crowd and from Soen, who are Swedish and have ex-Opeth Martin Lopez, I particularly liked Lotus.
To be honest, I don't really like them but I could care less about the debate (I mean, if I don't like them, that must mean they are not metal!). Of newish bands I've quite liked Wilderun, VOLA (now these would be a great metal or not debate, lol), Soen and Countless Skies.
Looks good! I queried about them and found there was also a thread a year ago with a couple more pics but lacking your verbose description - https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/mark-grether.115311/
I'll upload more pics later/tomorrow :D The package IIRC was registered as 3.5kg (max weight I imagine) and I don't recall exactly how much it was when I weighed the jacket (aka me vs me wearing it) but it was below 2kg.
The back is in two pieces, vertically separated, as Theodoros didn't have...
Hey everyone!
A bit late as now warmer days are upon us but I've gotten my B3, which I'm sure many of you will see it and think "welp, fashion jacket" but hey, it's how I wanted it :) I dislike the exposed shearling in cuffs and hem and I know my mind would perennially fear I'm getting them...
I've learnt of Talon here in TFL and if you point a gun to my head I would not be able to tell you why (or if) Talon is better than YKK. Meanwhile, I did know of CXL and that there's different kinds of leathers and tanneries, so I don't even understand why would they focus on the zippers when...
Yeah, I can see some differences, specially in design/aesthetic choices (which to me makes Vanson the most different out of them), but I meant as in differences that unequivocally makes one jacket better than the other (or justifies the price jump at a glance).
