1950's Vintage Montecristi Straw, Size 7. No size tag but measures 7-5/8" L x 6-1/4" W. The owner's hats were all size 7, 7-1/8 & 7-1/4. 2-5/8" brim, 4" crown at dip, with chocolate brown pug. Brim has ~1" long scratch or fold but no broken straws (see green arrow pic). Hardly visible, it may swell & disappear when steaming brim. 2" leather sweat. Very light weight. Made in Ecuador. According to web research The Capehart Hat Works was in business by 1949 & gone by 1960. $185.00 plus shipping.
