Packable AUTHENTIC BORSALINO. I bought this hat from a west coast specialty men's retail shop. I've worn it one time. That is the reason that I'm offering it for sale. I'm not using it and am reducing my hats to what I actually wear. I believe the model is TRAVELER.

The color in the photos is not completely accurate. My screen shows the color as brown-gray. Actually, the color of this fur felt Borsalino is muted dark green (sage green) with a hint of gray. It has a rich, deep brown hued band. The band bears the Borsalino name on the left side.

The crown is 4-1/2 inches in height. The brim width is 2-1/2 or 2-3/8 inches. The inner hatband bears the name "Borsalino" and has a white silk ribbon in the rear along with a size tag that bears the following imprint: "7 1/4 7 1/8 5 1/2 58" (US, UK, ...CM). The hat size is US 7-1/4.

The inner crown of the hat bears the following imprint: "BORSALINO RAIN PROOF LINE 1857 ALESSANDRIA MADE IN ITALY WATER REPELLENT FUR FELT." This is a tastefully understated, elegant accessory that will add to ones's casual weekend attire or weekday business dress in the fall and winter.

The price is $65.00 plus actual shipping cost.

Wow, that hot looks bright purple on my monitor, at least in the main shot. The pic on the bottom row, far right looks better but isn't big enough to get a good look.

You might try re-posting large shots with more accurate color. I think it would help.

No apology necessary. It looks like a great hat...I'll take it!

I just bought my first fedora...another Borsalino Traveler in taupe. It's the version with the ribbon band, and I haven't been willing to crush it. Perhaps I'll be braver with this one. Either way, green looks good on me.
I guess this will delay my AB order a bit, but the gratification will be more immediate!
I can't PM yet, but if you'll email me at Earl9@aol.com, we can arrange the details. :cheers1:
