After some deliberation with myself on whether or not I should sell, I decided I am going to sell my FCL Shinki Horsehide Ryan leather jacket. First, I purchased this jacket from Self Edge in San Francisco back in 2021 in Feb for $2332.75 ( MSRP is now $1950). I've not worn the jacket that much despite the amount of time I've had it. Reason why, is that the weather where I live is quite warm and the temperatures to wear it were few and far between and I also just accumulated other jackets over time and so it got worn less and less as time went on. Needless to say, the jacket is still in excellent condition but worn in a bit.
Measurements.
Chest: 44 in
Shoulder: 17.5 in
Sleeve: 24.75 in
Length Front: 28 in
Length Back: 26 in
Waist: 20 in
Note: The shoulder seems to be about 17.5 in when I measure but Self Edge measurement is 17.25 in. Everything else is accurate though.
A few things, the shinki horsehide is just now starting to break in so I did all the hard "work" for you haha. A minor amount of brown is peaking through in some spots mostly along the zipper, sleeves, and elbows but this jacket is still super black and will patina nicely. It's mostly unnoticeable unless you're looking closely. Also, be prepared for people to comment on the sounds this jacket makes, and unsolicited compliments/comments. Everything from "Rock Star", how noisy it is when you move, and the wrinkly look of this particular shinki horsehide. I picked it specifically because of the texture that this one has.
Somebody here is going to get a lovely leather jacket soon!
I included a bonus picture from when I took it back in to the shop and they did a comparison of mine and a new one.
