I am not sure. I bought it from the previous owner who said he bought it from Japan. What are the differences between the old and new cut? This is the only one I’ve own and tried on so I do not know the difference.

I can say I normally fit in a size 40 in Japanese jackets but this is a size 38 and it fits perfect on me.
