Offering these boots for sale or trade on behalf of a very good friend.
"These came to me from another community member and were subsequently sent back to Brian for a full relast and resole. Expensive, but absolutely worth it. Since then they've been worn, cared for, and have developed into what I think is a particularly good pair.
The leather has taken on a beautiful tan character over the last year, and the red stitching sets them apart from most stock Role Clubs you'll come across. It's a combination I haven't seen often, and one that photographs well but looks even better in person.
Build is 1.87" woodsman heel, black RC half soles, natural edge finish.
For sizing reference, my feet measure 27.5cm and I'm a 10.5 Brannock. Brian advised me into a stock 9.5D in Role Club years ago and both my 1940s and 1945s fit me perfectly in that size.
These have never been abused, neglected, or left to dry out in a closet somewhere. Just worn, maintained, and enjoyed.
The only reason they're available is that I'm continuing my hunt for a pair of Clinch horsebutt engineers.
Trades considered, but my primary interest is a Clinch engineer in horsebutt, roughly a Clinch 10h / US 9.5. If you've got a pair that ended up a little too snug, maybe we can help each other out.
Happy to provide additional photos or measurements
