At first I didn't know why you were selling hats off before going to university, as I bought up quite a few. Now that I see how many you're selling... I understand.

Wish they were closer to my size. Would love that Resistol cowboy hat, but afraid to try to stretch it up two sizes (7 1/4). Good luck with your sale as well as off at school. Where are you off to?

Put this one up tonight. It's a '40s Custom job. Though it's not marked as such, but I am about 99% sure that it's pure beaver felt. It feels identical in hand, stiffness, and weight to both of my Stetson 7x Clear Beavers. So if you've been looking for one of those with no luck, this would be the next best hat you'd find vintage.
I've worn it some, it's a beautiful hat, durable, smooth, but at 7-1/8, a little on the small side for me, and since it's not one I'm taking with me, you guys can have a go at it.

Dinerman,
May I ask why you restrict bidding on your hats to the United States in your e-mail auctions?
Nowadays, sending parcels to other countries is just as easy as sending them within your own country. Or do you have negative experiences?

I've just had some bad experiences with people, either trying to rip me off, or having horrible communication problems that make the transaction a nightmare. Also, I'm leaving very soon, and what with the longer time that it takes to ship overseas, and with customs and all, I might not be around to take care of things if any problems arise.

Betty- I've got a white background, a hat stand, two studio lights with softboxes, and a good SLR. It does the trick.
