   "V" Stitching in old Stetson Hats, vs. "V" stitching in Stetsons made in Australia

   Here is my dilemma. As far as I know, Stetson stopped using the "V"stitching in their sweatbands, at about the year 1900, and started using the UP AND DOWN STITCH. I have an old BOSS RAW EDGE hat with the "V" stitching instead of the UP AND DOWN stitching. I am trying to date a hat...
