What cigar (or pipe) did you smoke today?

It's been a while since I last visited. My most recent, and decent, cigars have been the CAO Zócalo, really nice; and, a Brick House Connecticut, there's more flavor than a Connecticut might lead you to believe.

What coffee or tea did you drink today?

French Market Dark Roast (blue bag/can)

Cigars - Country of Origin Tobacco and Your Favs

I don't really have a favorite, I like them all in some way or another. Companies based in Nicaragua and using Nicaraguan tobacco, over the last ten or so years, are really making great cigars. The Don Pepin Garcia family--My Father, including Tatuaje and Ilusione, are all top-notch. Perdomo and...

Cigars - Country of Origin Tobacco and Your Favs

I don't know about the quality, I do know from reading over the years, that certain blends and tobaccos are used depending upon the destination market.

Cigars - Country of Origin Tobacco and Your Favs

I routinely get an hour or more out of a robusto. Don't know why, but I simply smoke slowly, I guess.

What cigar (or pipe) did you smoke today?

Hi everyone, it's been a while. My last couple cigars have been a GTO Painkiller, a Todos Las Dias by Steve Saka, and, I believe, and Easy Eddie's Stogies from J*R cigar. All of them were top-notch, even the mixed-filler Easy Eddie's, which is a great bargain cigar with tremendous flavor.

Adventurebilt hats status update (read if you have an outstanding order)

A Steve Delk hat was on my list for "one-of-these-days-when-I-have-fewer-bills...." Good for him to be retiring, but sad for the rest of us.

What cigar (or pipe) did you smoke today?

Last cigar was a week or so ago, time intervening in my enjoyment, again. Ave Maria Clermont (corona) made by the trending A.J. Fernandez.

Which shaving soaps/creams do you want to try?

I'm still fighting the urge to press hard, otherwise, I'm really feeling good about this. Got an Edwin Jagger DE89L, this week, I put a Feather Stainless Steel blade in it, and I've done well with it, so far. Proraso Red pre-shave and shave cream a couple nights ago, and the Lather&Wood...

    Vintage Gillette Razor(s)

Excellent. I get it, but I've only the one, right now, but can see the Acquisition Disorder or Order Dis-Order (A.D. or O.D.O.0 kicking in sooner rather than later. Funny how my "hobbies" tend to create that...hats, cigars, shaving accoutrements...

What hat are you waiting for today?

    Thank you most kindly.

Which shaving soaps/creams do you want to try?

Well, I mustered up my courage last night and utilized the double edged safety razor. I used the Lather & Wood pre-shave oil, three little squirts. I changed mugs to a wider version, and even the Williams Shave Soap now lathers nice and fully. So I used that. The safety razor is a Perfecto, it...

    Vintage Gillette Razor(s)

Do you use your Gillettes, or do you keep them for posterity's sake? Both are worthy endeavors, in my estimation.

What hat are you waiting for today?

Today, my first fedora purchase from eleven years ago. It's a Borsalino, hadn't worn it in some time. Old photo, that window trim is now light green, and the canopy for the swing is now rotted away and the swing rusting. LOL

What cigar (or pipe) did you smoke today?

Had a Cigar International cheapie, Mark Twain Churchill with the Connecticut shade wrapper. How's that for a cigar named for TWO notables from history? That's actually the best thing about it. I don't often pooh-pooh a cigar, especially one that was given to me, so I'll say this: when it went...

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

I'm wearing an old beater my friend gave me. It's a lesser quality Stetson from the 1940s, it's stained, the ribbon is stained, there are chunks out of it. Purchased here in New Orleans at Meyer the Hatter by his uncle.

    Beard Oil?

Uncut Beard is the name of the balm I'm currently using. And it's from Dollar Beard Club, but still costs $7.00 LOL

Which shaving soaps/creams do you want to try?

At the end of the day, that's the desired result, right? That it works, clean, smooth shave without flaying oneself. If it feels nice and smells nice when I'm done, success!

Which shaving soaps/creams do you want to try?

Thank you for the tips. Don't know if I should tempt fate with menthol. Last time I tried, admittedly it was Barbasol menthol 20 years ago, my face swole like an open watermelon. The Principal sent me home from work the second I walked in the door to punch in. Little-by-little.

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

WOW, this thread is up to 6,700 pages!!! Unbelievable. Actually wearing a hat today, I go, all to often, without anymore :( Mostly due to which car I'm driving or simple forgetting to grab. But today, my Robert Webber, Pilé/Montecristi, purchased eleven years ago.
