Not the best prices...
These are 7inch boots by Timberland in collaboration with Rag & Bone. They remind a bit of Florsheim's Gering boots, except I'd say these are bit a "meaner." The only problem is, these are about $325 and I'm not prepared to spend over $150 on a new pair of boots. Anyone know where I can find...
It was truly breathtaking, you're 100% right about that. The only downside was we didn't make it up to Northern Ireland to see Giant's Causeway. Good thing, there's always a next time.
The Cliffs of Mother in Ireland. 700 feet up + 50 mph wind = Adventure. At least as far as I'm concerned. lol
This last one is down a ways from the cliffs, but I thought it was a cool shot anyway.
I sent my jacket back to US Authentic and asked them to take the sleeves up 1 inch. Hopefully, I'll get it back in a week or so. In the mean time, here's some shots of me in the jacket from my trip to the UK (Both pics were in Ireland though).
At the Cliffs of Moher
At the Poulnabrone
First, let me thank everyone for their kind words about the jacket and it's fit. :eusa_clap Its broken in quite a bit now from wearing it on my journey from Dublin, through Wales, to England and back. I love the fit, but I am going to be sending it back to Shaul, tomorrow when I get stateside...
I'm 23. So if you meant, I'll grow vertically; I wish! lol But if you meant the inevitable growth in fat I'll put on through the consumption of beer and fried food... you may have something there. haha
Thanks for the feedback, and yeah I'll e-mail Shaul now and see if he'll give me a month or so grace period on the alterations. Hopefully, he'll be more gracious about this than he was about visiting them up in Katonah, NY.
@ Garzo
The jacket is russet color Horsehide.
@Coffee
Thanks...
First off, thanks so much to the members of this board who gave me advice on buying my first A-2. My girlfriend surprised me on my birthday (5 days ago) by giving me an A-2 from flightjackets.com. Its much nicer than I expected and seeing as how it was a gift, the best things in life truly are...
Ok, so I haven't really been into the whole Cafe Racer look. But I must say this jacket as changed my mind a bit. It looks amazing, and the color couldn't be anymore perfect. Great selection.
A few of my friends and I were recently having a discussion about wallets, and the biggest debate we had going was on bi-fold or tri-fold. What do you guys think?
The new version on the block this summer was the "Raspberry LIT." Truly, a revelation. Almost blacked out for the first time since high school drinking those.
I say the 70s, no doubt. You had to be on acid if you thought any of that ever looked good. Although, the 80s and 90s were pretty horrible as well. Can we just kill whoever invented the neon colored fanny pack, if they're not already dead?
The whole concern about smell or the jeans getting dirty is just speculative. As, its inevitable that all clothes will eventually get dirty and smell after enough time or wear. I have 2 pairs of Pure Blue Japan 005s and a pair of Samurai S710s. None of them ever really smell (febreeze is...
