I have super fine hair too, but a TON of it. My hair doesn't hold a curl well typically, so I do a couple of different things depending on the amount of curl I want and what the weather is like in Houston. I ALWAYS apply setting lotion to my hair after a shower and depepnding on the time...
This is my wedding ring. It was my great-grandmother's wedding ring (my great-grandfather replaced her original ring with this one from their antique store), then my grandmother wore it on her right hand, then it served as my mother's wedding ring and now it is mine.
Sorry for the HUGE...
My hair is pretty long as well and I am just learning to style it. I do a lot of sponge roller and hot roller sets and then brush out like crazy. Maybe a roll in the front, faux Bettie bangs, or a pomp - all with the back down in wavy curls.

I'm new as well and have been asked to visit this thread. Am I in trouble?
I'm Heather, from Houston, Texas and my era of interest is the 40s and 50s. I found FL while searching numerous things over the years and have lurked on occasion. However, I got really into the Saddle Shoes thread and...
Lenore, I am in the same boat. (A boat in Houston, no less.) I typically go for a more 50s look, so being able to wear jeans every day is a blessing. But I agree that it is easy to get lazy. Mondays are the worst for me. I'm ususally coming off a Friday night set and my hair would be prime for...
