   Is chivalry dead?

   Being from the south and from a military family everyone older than me is automatically Sir or Ma'am. Anyone much younger than me is 'hon' or 'sweetie'. I've never given much thought to the idea of chivalry because here it's just sort of understood that's how you behave. That goes for both men...
