Nope, dark brown goat. In answer to your first post, a US Wings will last you a very long time. Great solid quality, I can't imagine either of mine wearing out from normal use.- Muzz

I went with a 42 Long for the G-1. I'm 6'3'' 205. If you want that close fit in the torso, but enough length in the arms, go down a size from your norm and get it in long. It at least worked for me. You can still type in your size in the Wings order form, and also let them know you want a...- Muzz

US Wings garment quality
I have two uswings jackets, an Indy and a G-1, they're both awesome. The G-1 has a great close fit. For the money, I say go for it. I would never want to spend more than 400 bucks on a jacket, so they're perfect for me! It is too bad that Wings has left their true sizing behind, ordering...- Muzz

Yeah, I found a lot of sites that list them as out of stock. I sent an email to Gift of Wings, so I guess we'll find out soon! If they are out of date, I'll get a US wings G-1, or one cooper I found at a local shop. Thanks for your reply!- Muzz

Need info on vintage Stetson Find
The felt is very soft and supple, has a suede feel, the color is just so deep! My hat has a bigger brim than in the ad, but its not a photo, so who knows! Well the couple that owns/operates the place now must be in their late 40's eary 50's, not sure if they are kin to the original owners... -

I thought it was a lot like a Whippet too, except it has a much larger brim than other whippets i've seen, and its an imperial quality rather than royal. Could it be a pre-whippet whippet? The original that inspired its own line in years to come? I would love to think its from the 40's, its... -

Inside Pics Of course, inside pics....... and the tag....... It was at Yesterdayz in the pike place market. They have a TON of hats, a couple Knox's, a good number of stetsons, none even close to my size, but all vintage, head down there and clean 'em out! -

I found this hat today at a second hand store here in Seattle. It has a light brown sweat with "Imperial Stetson vita-felt process" stamped in gold. The liner says Imperial Stetson. I would love any info on this hat, era, felt, name etc. -

Post Steam Pink Hue, how long?
It was the only stetson in the store, out of the style I wanted, without some issue i couldn't live with. I was shocked by so many irregularities in almost all of their hats. The hue is barely visable, so I'll probably live with it, I'll see how I feel later. -
