NYC hat repair
Any suggestions? I figured it would be better going to a actual store for the resizing. I have been using paper to reduce the size it works well may be better of not getting it done. Can I reinstall the liner myself? -

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows of any places to get a hat made smaller in NYC or Philadelphia. I know that there is Worth & Worth does anyone have any experience with them? I figure I need the hat reblocked, the liner sewn back in, and possibly a new sweatband. I would prefer not... -

The first regarding the condition of a hat. Is the discoloration or loss of felt in the upper right an issue? The seller is saying that it is flaking from the piping. Is that a big issue? What shape would you consider the hat in? Also any guesses on the age or year of make for the hat? My... -

Sorry about that. Here are some more pictures. http://www.etsy.com/transaction/67885413 I believe you may be right. It appears that the sweatband is black fabric and not leather. I thought 50s because it is hard to tell if there is plastic over the lining.
