Here's CDR Steve McGarrett-- the orignal McGarrett -- (a SWO reserve in this episode no less), rocking a G-1 while underway on a small boy. Just like we di in the 80s!
Yeah...if I remember correctly, Flight Suits and Wild Blue Yonder were connected...I actually bought the G-1 at their warehouse "store" in El Cajon, where they made the jackets.
Just received my G&B AN-J-3...size is right (for me..I like a little room). here are some pics...I included some pics of a G-1 I bought in 1990 from Wild Blue Yonder when I was in the Navy in San Diego ( I think they were the precursor to G&B)...Its in excellent shape, but alas a 38R...I'm...

Please excuse my ignorance...I'm relatively new to the forum. What is VS? Thanks. (beautiful hat!)

Whoops...meant to post this after the VS Whiskey ;P
I'm looking at getting one of these jackets...(long time lurker, first time poster...)--would you say the fit is true? I wear a 42S-44S, suit, so I'm wondering what I should order. I'm thinking about a 42S; do you find the overall length of the jacket to be true? FYI, I ordered a 44S...
