    The problem in the states is that cask is labor intensive (lines need to be cleaned regularly,etc.). Spoilage is a huge problem. I think it would take off but we need some technical innovations to make it work here.

    Gone fishing...

    Learned to flyfish from my dad. We lived in Arkansas. So I learned at a pond filled with Bluegill Bream and Black Bass. Bream deserve to classified as a great flyfishing species. Nothing more fun than catching a mess of them either with worm and canepole or flyrod and popping bug.

    I love the flyrod but the cane pole and a bobber represents fishing in its purest form. As for fish the bluegill bream will always be king of the gamefish.

    Love to fly fish. Just went to the Blue Ridge Mountains near Asheville NC. The fishing was great. We have some pretty good flyfishing in Arkansas as well, The White River. I wish I had taken a camera. Be sure to post pics Paddy, and good luck.

    Try a Kaywoodie Red Root, Dr. Grabow Golden Duke or a basket pipe if available. For tobacco go to the Pipework & Wilke website and order some of Carroll's great aromatics, such as 191, Maple Cavendish, or Rumcake. #10 is a great one to start with English blends.
