Well I measured from the little grommets underneath the each armpit and come up with 26.5 that's as good as I can get it. I do know I could I could barely squeeze into my size 46, with the 48 I have room to breath. I wear a 46- 48 in all my other jackets. My model b Vanson is a 46 and fits just...- Richbear

Call and talk to Ray at Wesco about sizing. I have had at least 6 pairs of their line boots over the years and wore a size 10 medium.
