The Battered Seal hide that I received was a shade darker than my Brown Chromexcel FQHH. Of course it looks more worn out of the box. One other thing to note is the hide seemed "waxier" in a sense. Thanks so much for the complement. I did choose everything myself. Apparently I am in the minority but the Cafe racer style from Aero fits me better than their Board Racer model.
