So the manufacturer replied to me that he is sorry but it is hard to say whose "fault" it is. I agree with him that perhaps it's Tonak that makes hats slightly larger (all my other hats are from Tonak). He suggested geting the hat stretcher as well. What I meant was they are very rare, probably even more than top hats which could be sometimes seen on some weddings or so. I am glad there are some people who still wear them. However, I don't remember seeing someone wearing a bowler it in my lifetime (other than as a part of costume).
