He really lathers that soap. Wow. I generally face lather and find it works fiine. Load the brush with soap and then work it into my beard. Pretty simple. He does a great job though.- David Caven

Thank you. I don't need the exact hat but do like the style. Found the St. James but can't find a photo of anyone wearing it so I'm having trouble visualizing it. Welcome to the rabbit hole of wet shaving! It is actually a great way to shave. I have been using straight razors and a 30's era Gillete safety razor for about a decade. I would never go back. You should certainly look into shaving soap and a brush when you switch. Good tallow shaving soap...- David Caven

New to the site but have been wearing hats for many years. Recently saw this hat on film and really like it. I think it might be a St. James Fedora from Lock and Company but am not sure.
