Possible Suit Disaster?
No idea for you, but I didn't know about that vinegar trick. I'll have to try it, I have one jacket with that "old wool odour". You just hang it above a tub full of hot water with how much vinegar? -

Just for the record, C&A is still in bussiness and sometimes has quite nice suits for less than little money, but as far as what I´ve seen, they are the typical "bags from polyesther", as one would expect from a suit for ca. 250 USD... -
The Dumbest Comment I Ever Heard
I got my first "Indiana Jones" today and I was not even wearing a hat! Well, I´m actually happy for this comment. One schoolmate of mine said that he was watching some of the Indiana Jones movies last night and immediately thought of me - the way I dress, I wear a hat and I´m about to study... -

Yeah, you´re probably right... These hats are too nice not to have them, even though I really did not need them (well, who of us NEEDS another hat... lol ). It´s ironic that the second cheapest model they have is the best looking. -

Thanks, I´ll try the steam. Late 60´s, or even later is what I was thinking. It has quite low crown and wider brim, like modern Tonak homburgs (which are surprisingly not listed anywhere on their website, but can be bought in their shop) -

Thank you very much for a quick reply! The problem with fit is that I need it to have more oval shape, which can hardly be done without a block. Since I know about only one hatter workshop in Prague, which makes hats only for ladies, reblocking it can be almost impossible task, but I will try... -

Tonak launches an e-shop
So, as I´ve written in the title, Tonak has started an e-shop on their website. There are two major disadvantages for the whole lounge: 1) It´s only in czech language 2) They only sell the hats to the Czech Republic and Slovakia Nevertheless, here is the link... -

Suits for the Short of Stature.
I read that it´s good to have slightly shorter jacket (the skirt, not the sleeves), to make your legs look longer. -
