    The Cap Faction

As much as I love a good fedora, flat and newsboy caps seem to have pulled off the trick of looking both vintage and up to date, keeping classic hats alive!

What Cap Are You Wearing Today?

Yeah, same size. I have found my Cordovas fit a bit loose so I attached some sizing tape under the sweatband. Now my hair’s longer I may need to take it out. Off the rack has such variance for some reason. Same company, Botvella, one cap is a bit loose the other is almost too tight, both 59s.

What Cap Are You Wearing Today?

Thank you very much, that means a lot! It’s definitely become my go any where, do anything cap. Thanks to the color and texture of the canvas (as opposed to twill) it can dress up, down and sideways, is really rugged and looks straight out of the 1920s or 30s. I have gotten in the habit of...

    The Cap Faction

So with it being officially 5 months to the day until my 40th birthday I decided to splurge ahead of time and ordered a birthday cap from Mr. Keith Lo Bue of The Well Dressed Head. Chose “L’Aronde” model in a really jazzy woven black and white cotton with an equally Art Deco like black liner...

What Cap Are You Wearing Today?

Another beauty! There’s something about a nice gingham check that just, well, “checks” all the boxes as it were.

The colors of that check pattern really work well together, very handsome cap!

What Cap Are You Wearing Today?

Took my canvas Cordova on the first long walk of the year yesterday. It’s certainly my favorite cap though it’ll probably get hung up in favor of my linen version once Florida summer arrives.

What Cap Are You Wearing Today?

That diamond weave is a thing of beauty!….but all your caps are! That sizing buckle in the back of a couple of the caps you’ve shown recently is an awesome touch!

    I love the Fed IV!!

Absolutely! Now, it’ll still be noticeably warmer than a ventilated straw hat of course, but whenever I wear it in the muggy Florida summer it’s really just around the leather sweatband that I feel the heat building up…and going, based on a linen cap I have that also has a leather...

    I love the Fed IV!!

Yeah, just use the very tip of the scissors to snip a small hole, then simply slide one arm of the scissors through and slowly cut it out. Pretty simple and makes a noticeable difference during summer months. Honestly I don’t find the Fed to wear all that hot except around the sweatband.

    I love the Fed IV!!

Looks fantastic! My Fed 4 has been with me three years now and it’s softened up well and molded to my head very nicely. You may consider snipping out the plastic cap covering the top of the liner, it’ll wear much more comfortably in the heat if you do!

What Cap Are You Wearing Today?

Apparently a slight chance of light rain on the way into work this morning…
