    AERO's undersized zips

Update: I am in contact with Aero's staff and they are proposing a pick up of my Windward for replacing the zip with an Universal...Let's see how it goes but I am happy about the quick and positive answer from their side: no issues were raised and everybody was very kind and supportive. Surely...

    AERO's undersized zips

I agree with you...I have become good at repairing the male pin issue but I am still facing the (typical in Aeros) issue of "getting the slider inserted into the male pin" due to the small dimension of the zip and the leather's bulkiness

    AERO's undersized zips

Exactly...I have an Aero motorcycle jacket from the early 90s and it's really tricky to zip because of this issue...and my new Windward too

    AERO's undersized zips

Thank you for your insight. I agree that older zip were better and that #10 are amazing both for bikers' jacket and "civilian" ones...I have a Thedi Grizzly with a #10 on and it's something else. I will ask Aero to replace my zip, I hope they will do it for a low price

    AERO's undersized zips

Yes, I already changed the slider by myself (Aero kindly sent me a replacement) but it's not enough...I will send the Windward back in Galashiel asking for a zip (bigger) replacement...

    AERO's undersized zips

I have a small collection of Aeros as I love the brand since 1985 so I am not here to just criticize...I just need to know from more expert loungers what could be their point in placing these small uncomfortable things in lovely bulky and heavy FQHH jackets.... In the good cases it's tricky to...

    "The Grizzly"

I have a Thedi customized grizzly with woollen liner so..yes, it is considerabily warmer than a nylon/cotton lined leather jacket... what impacts most im my jacket is the big mouton shawled collar, which gives a very comfy and warm feeling. I'd never wear a Grizzly with a belt because I really...

Hi new here. Is wearing a leather jacket basically an invitation for trouble?

Right! An I do not think that that style is "funny", it's only typical in certain countries and totally off in others... No problem at all with our american cousins

You mean italo-americans? Because here in Italy dressed that way you are going to look like a weirdo
