WWII U.S. Uniform questions
Up until Sept. 42 the authorized ties were a black silk and khaki, tied 4-in-hand. A white shirt could be worn under service dress when not in the field, at least in the 20's and 30's. Edmond O'brien was mainly a character actor, although he had a fair number of leading roles in the 40's. D.O.A was his best effort IHMO, but I really enjoyed him as the newspaper editor in "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence", and his role in "The Wild Bunch.- Tmac

Blades! by The Edge
My favorite everyday carry knife is a Cold Steel el Lobo, light as a feather and razor edge. That said, I usually carry a Buck or Gerber multi tool with me too.
