IMO this is one of the nicer A-1 repros. One piece back...capeskin..bottom buttons instead of snaps(original A-1s had both). Very nice repro!
Alas..too large for me...

Thanks and I agree wholeheartedly ! oh, and did I mention that it doesn't fit like a normal 44? ..somewhat smaller

Smaller you say...... I wear a 42" normally.Is it likely to fit?

cherrypicker - I'd say so but please check the measurements I posted, the chest is 22.5 across. So Willis & Geiger's 44 is pretty near accurate where as most manufacturers add an extra few inches.
