Personally I would buy any decent A2 and sew a Hilts badge on it(All the big company's sell them I believe). No one is going to come up to you and say "You know that part of your jacket is not authentic" So take it from a non collector, go the easy cheap routedo you guys remember the movie Papillon![]()
The jacket Appeared Almost Two shades too dark in some lighting aspect of the film, because of the Saturation effect of the colour old Film. Of course it could depend on the Jacket too, some WW2 Goatskin G-1 type Jackets I have appear to have the Hue of Dark chocolate, could appear almost black in some Light.
Im sure an Old print reel would vary in colour depending how It was developed and Aged over a long period of time..
maybe that, AND you might have to adjust the Tint On your TV.
But That is only Just a presumptive guess.
All that aside, I still want one!
