Ok I wouldn't wear one myself because I'm not a perfecto person, but serious question: Are we being fair when we call this awful or are we being haters?

I personally feel like I see much worse fitting jackets posted here all the time and everyone is complimenting the fit.

I mean, yeah, I do think it's awful. There are features on it I really like–other features I would only consider acceptable in a $200 generic Perfecto, such as the flat and lifeless lapels and collar. I really like the leather on the first one. And I'm glad only the second dude is in the worse chopped shoulder/belt version lol.

I think they don’t look as good as most of the jackets in Carlos’ collection, but still look better than some of the classifieds. They are fitted, just not flattering.

I rescind my apology to now long gone member @superflous for both my title and characterization of this brand.

I was right. He knows it too as he sold the leather rectangle pictured on him in this thread…..Or at least he attempted to.

I'll always respect him even though we had basically no agreement on jacket tastes. Dude got banned by his favorite clothing brand (Iron Heart) despite being a longtime customer and core member of their forum because he mentioned the Simmons Bilt theft case (not accusing Giles of involvement at all) and Giles branded him a traitor.

I liked him and respected him as well. I don’t think he and I had much in common when it came to our taste for jackets, but I always read what he had to write with interest.
