Don't know about you, but I love it when it rains.
If I have a hat that is losing its shape or the brim lost its snap I stick it out on the grass and let it get fairly well soaked. Once it dries the felt condition seems to improve. Don't know if it's my mind playing tricks on me or if it really works, but it seems to do the trick.
I did this with a Stetson tonight. It was losing its brim snap.
We'll see how it turns out.
