Thanks for all the replies. It was a pleasure choosing a jacket with your help, and John's. John Chapman of Good wear replied instantly to all my questions by e-mail, and sent me the jacket that fits me best!

Now I wish you hadn't posted those pics. Never been much of an A-2 fan, but that jacket has caught my fancy. There is nothing about it I don't like.

Agreed. A-2's have never really appealed to me that strongly, but that one certainly has a lot of allure!

I am sure a lot of people are happy with their various makes of A2. I love my Eastman - but the Goodwear is unbelievable. You've got a great jacket and the fit on you looks good.
