Did ya slip in a piece of paper with FL on it?

This is something we all can do to get the Fedora Lounge 'out there.'
When we sell a hat on OFAS or elsewhere, put a little note with the web address of the Lounge on it.
It cant hurt and more than likely will help.
Us with new members and the buyer with a little more hat knowledge and a lot more friends!:eusa_clap

I recall seeing a related suggestion a while back, but don't recall who may have made it. The suggestion was to put a link to the Lounge in your eBay auction, and/or your About The Seller (or whatever it's called) page.

When I see a good fedora i try to mention the Lounge to that person. I have brought a few into the fold and a few that just visit.

Great Idea

Well once in awhile I can think of a few good ideas!...
Maybe MK can have a graphic made up that will print about the size of a greeting card that we can print out and include with thinksor give people..or as a banner we can use on our personal websites to link with.
I met an Older Vet that had moved to my area...He was wearing a stingy brim that I complimented him on. We got to talking and I told him about the lounge. He was very excited, and said his daughter has web access, and that he'll check it out when he gets settled. He also mentioned that he had over 40 hats that he had to move from his old home, to his daughters.

I (rather presumptuously, I thought ) included this in one of my recent auctions, hoping I didn't step over the line, of course.

I likely should've included a disclaimer somehow indemnifying the FL & MK. I just wanted to share my enthusiasm. I have told about a half a dozen fellas I have spotted in fedoras out & about (grocery, ball game & so on) about The Lounge too...I am glad I'm not alone in this idea, thanks guys!

I'll chip in and say this is an excellent idea.

Anything that can help people in their exploration of the hobby has to be a good thing, and the more people who find the Lounge, the more people will be helped find the hat styles they are looking for.

Aha! I just came across an auction with this:

If you're looking for information on a specific man's vintage hat, there are many knowledgeable members there who can probably help you find the information you need.
