Hello,

I am interested in getting myself my first pair of engineer boots. Does anyone have experience with RDT engineer boots, how do they fit? I also notice there is barely any toe curl on this last, compared to Attractions Lot. 444 or Clinch Engineers. What is the purpose of the toe curl, is it mostly aesthetic?

It's called a sprung toe and as far as I know with pull on boots it's there to raise the front of your foot to make up for the higher heel so it doesn't slide forward as much.
I don't think it's that necessary if you don't have a very tall heel, but I have no clue what the limit is or how high of a heel these have.

I wear US10.5 in Clinch engineer boots, and although I haven’t tried the RDT Griffin engineer boots, other boots on the Griffin last fit me best in US9.5.

I have the griffin boot in size us9 - lace up version and am normally a US9 so these fit tts for me. Could maybe have gone half a size down but I prefer wearing thicker socks in winter.
