I realize i wasn't very clear regarding the store i used, here it is:
Double thank you. I was emailing Freewheelers directly. That probably explainss why I did not get an answer.
lol your name is influencing your post too much. You do realize that Freewheelers jackets sell extremely well, right? They are also insanely well made and people are willing to pay the price. My Freewheelers jacket was well worth what I paid for it.
I love the Sunset. It's probably my favorite deerskin jacket design that I have seen.
The Hooch Hauler is also great. It's probably the Aero model I would get if I bought one.
They are both influenced by past designs so I really don't think anyone is borrowing from each other.
I have ordered from Mirror Ball and Genco Clothing with no issue whatsoever. I recommend both of them after having purchased from them multiple times each.
Made contact! I got replies from Mirror Ball and Freewheelers. They are sold out for now (goes to what you said on response to AeroFan). They should have more jacket by December-January.
A bit off topic. I went out for a night ride, a quick short one. Some jerk decided to cut me off, and I had to lay down the bike. Luckily, I was wearing my Taubers horsehide jacket (at least I think it is a Taubers based on what I learned from Terry mitchel's videos). The jacket is scratched, but I am mostly fine.
It pays off to buy and wear a good quality jackets.
Oh man, sorry to hear that. I almost hate to ask, how is the bike?
The bike is a mess. I am in pain but it is mostly because of the adrenaline wearing off. Overall, I was very lucky. Thank you for asking.
Sorry to hear that, but glad you are OK!
Bike can be fixed. Glad to hear you're alright. I had a similar experience in my 20's but no jacket so I had to ride home with bent bars and a left arm that looked like raw ground beef. Damn straight a good jacket pays dividends.
Really sorry to hear that as well, important thing it that you didn't get hurt badly
Genko has a good selection of Freewheelers jackets and can ship internationally. Met the owner during my recent trip to Japan, can only say good things about him
Thank you for the advice, and for the wishes.
Nice. I checked the website. They don't have my size, but I will email them.
They are supposed to get new stock in November
