The AN-J-4 or the Navy M-444/445 are my top choices for a WWII sheepskin jacket.

That was also my feeling 5 years ago. However I came to my senses and find the clean lines of the pre-war Irvin to be even more classic in a way that will have me use it for the rest of my life in any setting.
