Ordered this September 2022, and thought I may lose some weight to be worthy of the cut, but I will never get there.. lol... who wants a new jacket?

It’s a Vicenza cowhide -

Vicenza is a type of corrected grain, aniline leather. It's made from European cowhide and undergoes a special retannage process for a superior hand feel. Check out the aero website and you’ll see it’s very common

Are you 100% sure it is corrected and not full grain? Because if I remember well it is advertised as a full grain leather (and semi-aniline, again if I recall correctly).

Areo's Vicenza is Italian horsehide. Full grain, not corrected, as mentioned above. It's good stuff... Originally introduced as a thinner and lighter option for those who weren't looking for the stereotypical Aero "horsehide armor" builds from the various Horween FQHH hides.
