It's a weird thing, isn't it? I don't understand why that's the case. I just about went for it with my last order, I was going to have one in russet goat, but in the end I went with the cordovan slim fit bootlegger - something that's been on my list for ages! I still think the Royale is a great looking jacket. Very trim and stylish.

Same for the Moonshiner. Would've probably been my favorite jacket of the lot but then again, I'd have to see it first.

The Royale is very much a classic British inter-war jacket; you'll see jackets like that in a lot of British films of the period. I'm keen on the idea of one myself in future, quite likely seal goat. I'm very into Aero's goat as a hide for a lot of future jackets ATM, but I'm also feeling the pull of a navy blue Vicenza Aeromarine....
