Agreed. Very good point! And you can change the crease if and when you desire.At the risk of complicating matters, you might want to consider the Akubra Fedora. Similar to the other two you're looking at; but you get an open crown you can crease yourself--and that is the most classic look of all!
Take KY's advice Nimrod and get the Akubra Fedora.

FWIW, I ended up getting a Stylemaster because I felt the Bogart was too tapered. It's a great hat, but that was unfortunately that was before I knew that "Akubras shrink so order a size up."
