Alterations to an A-2

I have recently lost a lot of weight, & I think I should get my A-2 altered for a better fit now.....Is that a lot of trouble or expensive to get it sized down, especially in the waist & sleeve length?

I think it depends on the jacket. If it's an Avirex/Cooper/USW, etc., probably not. An Aero, G&B, GW, etc., likely depending on who does it and what they charge.
Plus, how much do you love it? Selling it and getting new might be better?
I have a few I need to dump too for the same reason. I don't mind that dilemma...

Alterations below the armpits and sleeves are perhaps the easiest to do. You need to find a tailor who will work on leather jackets. There should be a good selection in, and around, Alexandria.
